This is a great tool! The curved blade concentrates the cutting force and makes linecutting so much easier. I found it has perfect balance and is lighter than most tools of older design. I will be purchasing more Rogue tools in the near future.

This is a MUST HAVE to a Wildland Fire Fighter. The Knife Edges take out most obstacles and small trees. A quality tool thats MADE IN THE U.S.A. The only addition is to include a blade protector(more like a dumb user protector) to guard the knife edges. I cant wait for this Company to make a Pulaski Axe and other Wildland Firefighting Tools. Great job!! EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!!

Thought hazel was my dream girl and has been my favorite for 4 years. Then last summer I met rogue, long and sleek she came into my life and will never leave. The curved thick hipped hickory handle is only ment for large hands. Was my first purchased rogue but due to the unscheduled shorting of a couple fingers am adding the fiberglass model to the arsenal of trail tools. Hazel is a wonderful tool and definitely has her place but the extra sharp edges,1 in. tine and weight make the Prohoe Rogue my new favorite. If your a gardener or trail builder you need one of these !!!

This was the latest addition to our trail building tool collection, and it performed so well that one of our crew wanted one for his own. It is great to have as a single tool as you cruise a trail for light maintenance and fine tuning, and it performs well in heavy work too. We have a standard triple edge, a mccloud, fire rake, pulaski and other misc trail tools as well in our collection to compare to.

I'm a trail volunteer with the CFPA in Connecticut and I've used this tool for the past 3 seasons. It's lighter than a hazel hoe but works just as well if not better. The steel used is from old disc harrow blades so its TOUGH! It takes a long time to sharpen, but even longer to dull. I highly reccomend it for anyone doing trail maintainence.

Used this tool for the first time building mountain bike trail at the Big South Fork NRRA. It's a cross between a pulaski and a MacLeod and can be used for both trail clearing and hillside graading.
